EM Forecourt™ — fuel and convenience retail software for Australian sites

GaP Solutions builds cloud-based POS software, hardware and retail equipment for independent Australian retailers, all developed and supported in-house.

What is EM Forecourt™?

EM Forecourt™ is GaP Solutions' purpose-built fuel and convenience retail platform. Running on EM Cloud™, it manages fuel pump control and dispenser authorisation for up to 72 dispensers, wet stock tracking, automated grade pricing and mandatory price reporting, EFTPOS and fleet card payment, convenience store retail, food service and kitchen management, self-checkout via the EM SCO Kiosk Fuel, and multi-site head office management — all from a cloud-based interface accessible on any device from anywhere.

Every litre, every coffee, every card payment lands in the same system, so the site balances, the margins are visible, and nothing needs rekeying.

EM Forecourt™ is the successor to Ezi Forecourt, built and supported in Australia by GaP Solutions with a 24/7 help desk and local technicians.

Every pump. Every aisle. Every payment. One system.

Most fuel sites run separate systems: a pump console that doesn't talk to the POS, a kiosk that reconciles on its own, a back office that finds out yesterday's numbers tomorrow. EM Forecourt™ was built to change that.

Fuel control

Every pump. Every tank. Every shift. In view.

Pump control, at a glance

Real-time graphical pump status for up to 72 dispensers. Authorise, pause, stop, lock or unlock any pump — or the whole forecourt — from the console, with clear icons and prompts your staff read in a glance, even at peak.

Every service mode

Pre-pay, post-pay and auto-authorise, configurable by pump, by daypart or by site. Run attended service at peak and self-serve overnight — the same system handles both.

Wet stock you can trust

Automated tank gauge readings and pump meter data flow straight into reconciliation. Track deliveries, dips, sales and variances by tank and by grade — and see losses while there is still time to act, not at month end.

Alerts before they become problems

Variance thresholds, low-stock warnings and delivery confirmations reach the right person automatically — on site or at head office.

Pricing & compliance

Change the price once. It lands everywhere.

Fuel pricing moves daily, and the risk is a board, a pump or a government feed that did not update. With EM Forecourt™, one price change flows to the pumps, the POS, the price board and your reporting obligations together.

Mandatory price reporting, handled

Victoria and South Australia operate mandatory fuel price reporting schemes, with penalties for late or missed updates. EM Forecourt™ connects your price change to the required government feed in both states, so compliance is a by-product of running the site rather than a separate job.

Price with intent

Margin visibility by grade, day and daypart supports pricing decisions you can defend — and head office can set, schedule and audit price changes across every site from one place.

Payments

Every way your customers pay for fuel.

Fuel retail payment is its own world: fuel cards, fleet accounts, EFTPOS, contactless, vouchers and house accounts. EM Forecourt™ brings them into one transaction flow with one reconciliation.

  • Integration with Till, Tyro, Linkly, Posgate, Quest, DataMesh, MX51 and Live Payments, including multiple providers on a single site
  • Acceptance of Fleet Card, Motorcharge and Motorpass, plus the major oil company schemes including Shell, Caltex, BP, Viva Energy, Liberty, Mogas and Metro Petroleum
  • Customer charge accounts, gift cards, coupons and vouchers at the same console
  • Contactless and digital wallets as standard — around 95% of in-person card payments in Australia are now contactless

Fuel brings them in. The store brings them back.

Margins live inside the shop: coffee, food, convenience. EM POS™ runs that side of the site with the same speed and the same data as the forecourt — one basket for fuel and shop together, one loyalty program, one set of numbers.

Fast lanes for busy mornings

Configurable screens, quick keys for coffee and bakery, and integrated EFTPOS — built for the 7am rush.

Food service, synchronised

Orders flow from the front counter to kitchen printing or bump-bar displays. Front of house sees order status; customers get their food faster with fewer mistakes.

Loyalty that belongs to you

Ezi Rewards runs your own program — points, offers, member pricing and the Ezi Rewards App — tied to your site, your customers and your data.

Self-checkout

Self-service that closes the gap — not a second system.

Bolt-on kiosks create a second sales environment: separate reconciliation, separate product file, separate support number. EM SCO Kiosk Fuel is the EM SCO-K kiosk running EM Cloud™ and EM POS™ — the same live system as your console — so every kiosk sale sits in the same reconciliation, the same reporting and the same loyalty program as every other sale on site.

Peak relief

Motorists paying for fuel, a snack and a drink do not need to queue behind the coffee order. The kiosk takes card-only transactions in seconds and keeps the console free for service.

After hours and lightly staffed

Card-only and supervised by one team member, the kiosk suits early mornings, late nights, and sites that cannot staff a second register.

Built for the environment

A 21.5" guided touchscreen, integrated scanner, EFTPOS and receipt printer in a slim pedestal that fits a forecourt shop without stealing floor space.

More than two-thirds

of Australian consumers prefer self-checkout — particularly when shopping alone, when they are in a hurry, or when avoiding long queues.

Back office & multi-site

The whole operation. One login.

EM Cloud™ is the management layer over everything: sales by grade and department, shift and end-of-day reports, wet-stock position, margins, staff permissions and price control — for one site or fifty. Access it from any device, including your phone.

  • End-of-shift and end-of-day reporting across POS, tanks and pumps
  • Discrepancy and variance visibility while it is still actionable
  • Central pricing, promotions and product files across sites

Frequently asked questions

What is EM Forecourt?
EM Forecourt is GaP Solutions' purpose-built fuel and convenience retail platform, running on EM Cloud. It manages pump control, wet stock, automated fuel pricing, mandatory price reporting, EFTPOS and fleet card payments, convenience store POS, food service, self-checkout via EM SCO Kiosk Fuel, and multi-site management, all in one connected system. Formerly known as Ezi Forecourt.
How does EM Forecourt manage fuel pumps?
EM Forecourt provides a real-time graphical interface for pump status, supporting up to 72 dispensers. Operators can authorise, pause, stop, lock and unlock all or individual pumps from the console. Pre-pay, post-pay and auto-authorise modes can be configured by pump, by daypart or by site, so attended and self-serve operation run on the same system.
Can EM Forecourt handle mandatory fuel price reporting?
Yes, in Victoria and South Australia. When a price change is made in EM Forecourt, it flows to the pumps, the POS, the price board and the required government price reporting feeds, so compliance is handled as part of normal site operations rather than as a separate manual step.
Does EM SCO Kiosk Fuel use the same system as the main POS?
Yes. EM SCO Kiosk Fuel is the EM SCO-K kiosk running EM Cloud and EM POS, the same live system as your console, with a front end built for fuel-site self-serve. Every kiosk sale appears in the same reconciliation, reporting and Ezi Rewards loyalty program as any other sale on site. There is no separate product file, no separate reconciliation and no separate support contract.
Can EM Forecourt manage multiple fuel sites from one back office?
Yes. EM Cloud gives you central control of pricing, promotions, product files and reporting across all sites, from any device including your phone. End-of-shift and end-of-day reports consolidate POS, tank and pump data so discrepancies are visible while they are still actionable.
